Superintendent Orders Halt To Land Sale In Bomi
By David Pamas Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent

TUBMANBURG, January 20 (LINA) - Bomi County Superintendent Samuel Brown has put a halt to the sale of public land in the county with immediate effect.

He said the ban will remain in place pending the outcome of investigation into numerous complaints from citizens about the sale of land.

Brown told reporters recently that he took the decision to prevent possible land disputes among citizens and other residents of the county.

He then directed the Land Commissioner of Bomi County, Abraham Jones, to do a comprehensive report on the situation and present same to his office within the shortest possible period.
