LOIC Instructor Urges Students To Prioritize TVET
By D. Ignatius Roberts, LINA Cape Mount County Correspondent
ROBERTSPORT, November 3 (LINA) - An instructor at the Liberia Opportunities Industrialization Centers (LOIC) has challenged youths to prioritize vocational and technical education (TVET) to enable them participate in the reconstruction of their country.
According to the Liberia News Agency correspondent, Instructor Edward Gueh made the challenge Monday at his office after the school resumed classes in Sinje, Grand Cape Mount County, following a long break.
He told the students that failure to acquire academic, vocational or technical education will render them unprepared to participate in the rebuilding process of the country.
Gueh named courses offered at the institution as carpentry, pastry, cosmetology, electricity, plumbing, mechanics, tailoring, tie-dyeing and masonry.
