Cleanup Campaign Gets Underway In Sasstown

TUBMANBURG, October 31 (LINA) – A predominantly youthful community Sasstown in Klay District, Bomi County has embarked on a two-week cleanup exercise to improve the sanitation and health conditions of the town and give it a facelift.
Sasstown Clan Chief Momoh Tarwo said in an interview with the Liberia News Agency Friday that the citizens are using shovels, hoes, cutlasses, wheelbarrows and boots provided by a group called Sanitations and Health Initiatives to carry out the clean-up campaign.
He said Sasstown, being the headquarters of the clan, needs good sanitation and health conditions at all times and to inspire other areas to follow suit.
Tarwo said the campaign, when completed, will brighten to outlook of Sasstown during the dry season.
