CWF Certificates 5 Nimbaians For Sustaining Peace

By Wellington Patrick, Nimba County Correspondent

SANNIQUELLIE, March 3 (LINA) -The Executive Committee of the Community Watch Forum (CWF) of Liberia, has certificated prominent Nimba citizens for their “immense contributions” to peace and development in the county.

The certification was done at the CWF National Retreat held in Saclepea at the weekend.

Those certificated were the CWF County Chairman, Stanley Vonzeab, the County Commander of the Liberian National Police, Teto Lollin; CWF Legal Counsel, Cllr. Yamie Quiqui Gbeisay, Sr.; Former Nimba County Superintendent Christiana Dagadu and the Representative of District #9, Matenokay Tingban.

Speaking on behalf of the honorees, Cllr. Gbeisay said he was not surprised that organizations across Liberia would identify individuals who are contributing to the sustenance of peace and development.

He observed that the peace being enjoyed by the Liberian people today is due to the efforts of local citizens who intervened in tackling obstacles to peace in their respective communities.

He appealed to Liberians to abide by the laws of Liberia, and respect the rights of every individual, noting that this was the simplest formula for sustaining peace nationwide.
