KDA Constructs Teachers’ Quarter In Klay
By David Pamas Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent

TUBMANBURG, October 26 (LINA) - The Principal of Gertrude Yancy High School in Klay District, Bomi County, George Gbelly, has disclosed that a group has built a three-bedroom apartment and a hand pump for teachers of the school.

In an interview with the Liberia News Agency in the district on Monday, Gbelly said the structure was constructed by the Klay Development Association (KDA) based in the United States of America.

He noted that the gesture by the KDA is intended to accommodate teachers from different areas assigned at the school to avoid them being late for classes.

According to Gbelly, the head of KDA, Madam Zoe Anderson Bryant put the cost of the building and hand pump at US$15, 350.

Meanwhile, Gbelly is appealing to the government, partners and County Administration to help construct another apartment for teachers of the school to accommodate the 18 teachers assigned there.
