MONROVIA, October 25 (LINA) - Bong County Senator Jewel Taylor has pledged total support and commitment to ensuring that the dreams and aspirations of the people of Sanoyea District are met.

She made pledge Saturday at the induction of Milton Varney as Commissioner of Sanoyea District held at the Sanoyea Town Hall in Sanoyea, Bong County.

Commissioner Varney replaces former Sanoyea District Commissioner Cantors Bornor who has been sick for a protracted period.

Senator Taylor vowed to ensure that Sanoyea District is made second to none under the Bong County banner.

She promised to remain engaged with the newly-inducted commissioner, and emphasized the need for every stakeholder to positively contribute to the attainment of development in the district and the county at large.

The induction was performed by Bong County Acting Superintendent Anthony Sheriff, who on behalf of government, officially declared Varney as Sanoyea District Commissioner and handed him the gavel of authority.

The occasion brought together a cross-section of citizens including representatives of the local administration, chiefs, elders and the youth community.
