VOINJAMA, October 20 (LINA) - The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Lofa County branch has arrested a 27-year-old woman with 70 kilograms of marijuana valued at L$52,000.

Making the disclosure to the Liberia News Agency (LINA) in Zorzor Tuesday, DEA Commander Colonel George Ponney said Monigo Dorbor, who is a resident of the Paynesville Community in Monrovia, was arrested in Zorzor on Monday while en route to Monrovia.

The Lofa DEA boss revealed that suspect Dorbor has been turned over to the Zorzor Magisterial Court for prosecution.

Meanwhile, Colonel Ponney is urging citizens to assist the DEA in curbing the consumption, trafficking and cultivation of marijuana and other narcotics by providing information to the agency.
