Pres. Sirleaf Meets National Legislature Leaders

MONROVIA, October 15 (LINA) - President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has held a closed door consultative meeting with the leadership of the National Legislature.

According to an Executive Mansion release, the Liberian leader met Wednesday with the leaders of both Houses, including Speaker Alex Tyler and President Pro-Tempore Armah Jallah at the Capitol Building.

The meeting was believed to be focused on improving the state of the country’s economy as well as its recovery plan.

The Liberian leader was accompanied to the Capitol by Information Minister Lewis G. Brown.
