Agric Minister Pledges Support To Bassa College Initiative
By Johnson Bobby Liway, LINA Grand Bassa County Correspondent

BUCHANAN, October 2 (LINA) – Agriculture Minister Dr. Moses Zinnah has pledged his ministry’s support to the newly-established agriculture program of the Grand Bassa Community College (GBCC).

Speaking at the inauguration of the college’s Soil Sciences Laboratory in Buchanan Thursday, Dr. Zinnah observed that there is a high demand for skilled manpower in the agriculture sector of Liberia.

He noted that the various agriculture programs being sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in most community colleges will serve as a strong foundation to reform agriculture education at the university level.

He commended the board, staff as well as national and international partners for helping the college achieve its goals.
