Klay Chief Appeals For Health Center
By David Pamas Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent

TUBMANBURG, September 30 (LINA) - The General Town Chief of Klay Town in Klay District, Bomi County, Momo Zinnah, has appealed to the government to construct a health center in the town.

Chief Zinnah said the lack of a health center in the district is making life unbearable for sick residents, especially pregnant women, children and the elderly.

In an interview with the Liberia News Agency in Klay recently, the Town Chief said during the tenure of former Senator Richard Devine, a parcel of land was provided to the County Legislative Caucus and the county administration to build a health facility in the area.

According to him, it was decided at one of the County Council Sittings few years ago that a certain amount be sourced from the County Development Fund (CDF) and the Social Development Fund (SDF) to construct the health facility. “Since that time, we are yet to see it happen,” the Town Chief said.
