Lofa Lawmaker Challenges Liberians To Be Sincere About Their Country’s Development
By Calvin Brooks

MONROVIA, September 26(LINA) - Lofa County Representative Clarence Massaquoi has challenged Liberians to be sincere and serious about
their country’s infrastructural and economic development.

Representative Massaquoi observed that lack of sincerity on the part of Liberians both in the public and private sectors has undermined the
country's development agenda over the years, noting that this has undermined the provision of basic social services across the country.

The Lofa County Lawmaker proffered the challenge Friday at a program marking the First Development Dialogue organized by the local group,
The Development Brokers (TDB) held at the Monrovia City Hall.

He noted that if Liberia’s development agenda should move forward, every Liberian should be honest to champion the development drive
despite their status in society, noting that deceit will not help Liberia.

He stressed that deceitful behavior will continue to undermine the development of the country, emphasizing that Liberians will continue
to live in abject poverty with all the abundant natural resources at their disposal, if they are not sincere about developing their
country.
