OAY Targets 500 Nimba Youths To Recruit

SANNIQUELLIE, September 24 (LINA) -The Organization of African Youth (OAY), a global network, is recruiting about 500 young Nimbians toform part of the Provincial Wing of that global entity.

Making the disclosure to the Liberia News Agency Wednesday, OAY acting Regional Secretary Harrison Bouh said following the recruitment, the
county will be eligible to participate in the upcoming ‘Youth Convention’ which will be sponsored by the United Nations Children’s
Fund (UNICEF).

OAY is a continental body of dedicated youth who are being trained to transform Africa and other continents across the globe through
capacity building to enable them rise above traditional, social and economic challenges.

The institution also focuses on youth empowerment to promote good leadership and entrepreneurship for the development of their
respective countries on the continent of Africa and the world at large.

Bouh revealed that the Organization of African Youth is currently operating in at least 35 African countries and that Liberia has been a
member since February 2014.
