MOE, UNICEF Distribute School Materials To Public Schools In Nimba

SANNIQUELLIE, September 24 (LINA) - The County Education Office of Nimba County in partnership with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has embarked on the distribution of school materials to public schools in the county.

The materials which include book bags, pencils, erasers and copy books, are intended for pupils in grades 1 and 2 in all public schools
operating in the county.

Making the disclosure to the Liberia News Agency (LINA) on Wednesday, the County Education Officer (CEO) Wleh T. Sailah said the
distribution is targeting about 5,000 students.

Sailah who did not disclose the cost of the supplies, said plans are underway to include teachers and high school students of public
schools in the second phase of the distribution exercise.
