Pres. Sirleaf Makes More Appointments In Government

MONROVIA, September 16 (LINA) - President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has made a number of appointments in Government affecting the Liberia National Lotteries Authority, National Fire Service, Liberia Telecommunications Corporation and the Liberia Institute of Public Administration.

Those appointed at the Liberia National Lotteries Authority are Mr. Martin Kollie,   Director General; and National Fire Service Mr. Jacob Johnson as Assistant Director for Operations

Those appointed at the Liberia Telecommunications Corporation are Cllr. Carlos Smith, Chairman, Board of Directors; and Charles B. Roberts, Jr., James P. Cooper, Ms. Eyvonne Bright Dennis,Nathaniel Gbaba, John Ballout and Sebastian Muah (MD), Members of the Board of Directors.

Also appointed as Board of Directors of the Liberia Institute of Public Administration (LIPA) are the National Commission on Higher Education, Chairman; The President, University of Liberia;  The Chairman, Governance Commission; The Director-General, Civil Service Agency; Mr. Arthur Fumba, (Financial Expert); Mr. Saah N’Tow (HR/Career Development Expertise); Mr. Latim De-Thong (Private Sector Capacity Development).

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Senate where applicable.
