Klay Citizen Donates Supplies To Bomi Govt. Hospital

By David Pamas Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent

TUBMANBURG, September 3 (LINA) - A citizen of Klay District in Bomi County, Mannah Bishop Johnson, has donated several medical supplies, including drugs, to the Liberia Government Hospital in Tubmanburg, Bomi County.

Presenting the items to the hospital’s Administrator Davidson Rogers in Tubmanburg recently, Johnson said the medical supplies valued at over US$75,000 were given to him by a friend who resides in the United States.

He said the friend, one Dr. Harris, who is head of a Medical Care Team in the United States, realized that healthcare facilities in the county were in dire need of drugs and medical equipment and as such decided to come to their aid.

Receiving the donation, Rogers commended Johnson for identifying with the County Health Team (CHT), noting that the donation will enable the hospital and clinics in the county to cater to patients.
