Sherman Cautions Students To Refrain From Nat’l Politics

By D. Ignatius Roberts, LINA Grand Cape Mount County Correspondent

ROBERTSPORT, August 25 ((LINA) - Grand Cape Mount County Senator Varney Sherman has cautioned the county’s university students to refrain from national politics and focus on their education to qualify for scholarship grants.

He said the leadership of the county will only offer scholarships to students who score the required 3.0 grade point average or above in their various institutions.

Sherman made the statement recently during the County Council Development Meeting held recently in Robertsport.

He emphasized that the grade sheets of students will determine their eligibility, adding, “The county leadership will not grant scholarships to those students who fall below the set grade points.”
