Court In Cape Mount Postpones Criminal Malevolence Case Against Two Journalists
By D. Ignatius Roberts, LINA Grand Cape Mount County Correspondent

ROBERTSPORT, August 18 (LINA) - The Magistrate of the Robertsport Magisterial Court, Robert Shannon, has postponed hearing in the “Criminal Malevolence” case against two broadcast journalists of Radio Piso in Robertsport for September 7, 2015.

Making the pronouncement in court on Monday, Magistrate Shannon said the suspension of the hearing was based on the request of state prosecutors who asked the court to extend the hearing of the case because the principal witness in the case has left the county to seek medical attention.

Recently, the Principal of the Episcopal High School in Robertsport, John Moiwoh, sued Journalists Titus Wleh and Jenkins Mabande for airing what he described as an “unfounded” story about him without
getting his side..

Meanwhile, the two journalists have filed a criminal appearance bond which prevents them from going to jail. They are being represented in court by the county’s Public Defender, Cllr. Boima Toure, while the plaintiff is represented by the county solicitor Abraham Sheriff.
