MONROVIA, August 17 (LINA) – The University of Liberia (UL) has released its calendar for academic 2015/16, setting Monday, October 5, as the official date for the start of classes.

UL Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Julius S. Nelson, made the disclosure at the weekend in Monrovia.

He said official registration will start on Tuesday, September 1, and run up to Wednesday, September 30.

Already pre-registration has begun at departments and colleges, while correction of errors on grade sheets are currently ongoing and will end on Monday, August 31.

Also in progress beginning Monday, August 17, is the orientation of faculty members which includes all Deans, Academic Directors as well as part and full time faculty members.

Dr. Nelson called on students to prepare for the new task and take advantage of the month-long registration process as there will be no room for extension.

Meanwhile, he has pledged the administration’s commitment to ensuring that the university-run radio station LUX FM 106.6 will on the air on or before the official start of classes.
