By Johnson Bobby Liway, LINA Grand Bassa County Correspondent

BUCHANAN, August 12 (LINA) - Ten participants from four districts in Grand Bassa County have received training in Decision-making and Forest Management organized by the Bassa Women Development Association (BAWODA).

The training, which was followed by a one-day direct beneficiary symposium on Wednesday in Buchanan, was aimed at giving reports on the training and counseling of the beneficiaries.

Speaking to the Liberia News Agency at the end of the symposium, participants lauded BAWODA for organizing the training which, they said, will go a long way in benefiting their respective districts.

At the end of the program, BAWODA Executive Director Martha Karnga told LINA that the symposium was to ensure that beneficiaries have the ability to express themselves in public, especially in decision-making in the interest of their districts.

Karnga lauded American Jewish World Service (AJWS), Action Aid Liberia, Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA),Search for Common Ground and IREX for their support to her organization.
