Tubmanburg Mayor Urged To Give City Facelift
By David Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent

TUBMANBURG, August 12 (LINA) – Bomi County Superintendent Samuel Brown has instructed Tubmanburg City Mayor Rebecca Benson to cut down overgrown trees in the city to help give it a facelift.

Superintendent Brown told the Liberia News Agency Wednesday that the campaign is part of an ongoing clean-up exercise under the auspices of the administration to “give the city a good look.”

According to Brown, the tree-felling campaign is not covered under funding the administration has already made available to a special team set up to clean the city.

“The city corporation has prepared a separate budget to that effect for implementation,” he explained.

The Superintendent indicated that much attention is paid to Tubmanburg City because it is the county seat.
