NEW BOPOLU, August 11 (LINA) - The maintenance officer at the Chief Jallah Lone Medical Center in Bopolu District, Gbarpolu County, has been charged with rape and kidnapping by the Women and Children Protection Section of the Police Detachment.

John Koloko was formally charged Tuesday after a medical examination report

He has been detained at the Bopolu Central Prison awaiting trial at the Circuit Court.

Koloko, 46, was arrested based upon a complaint filed by the victim's mother.
