River Gee Health Authorities Want Housing For Staff
By Justice C. Gaddeh, LINA River Gee County Correspondent

FISHTOWN, August 6 (LINA) - River Gee County Health Services Administrator, Karsloh S. Turo, has said the lack of housing facilities for professional staff in the county is affecting the provision of basic health services.

Making the disclosure in an interview with the Liberia News Agency Wednesday, Turo pointed out that the situation is more challenging, especially at the Fishtown Referral Hospital, where health workers have abandoned the facility.

He, however, said the county health team has made series of recommendations at the County Council sitting to allocate money from both the Social and County Development Funds to remedy the situation.

The Ministry of Health local official thanked health workers, who despite the huge challenges, continue to deliver basic health services to citizens and residents of River Gee County.
