HARPER, Feb 22 (LINA) -A community watch forum intended to reduce criminal activities in Harper District, Maryland County has been held in Little Wlebo.

The forum, which was organized by the Liberia National Police, brought together chiefs, elders, the youth and professionals.

Addressing the forum on the prevention of crime recently, Maryland County Police Commander Col. Alex Togba told the citizens to always report crimes and criminals to the police, in support of the fight against crime.

The Maryland County Police Commander used the occasion to warn citizens against mob actions, adding that mob action is unlawful under the laws of Liberia.

Meanwhile, Col. Togba has told the citizens of Little Wlebo to closely watch the refugee camp in the area and report to the police strange movements or activities there.
