ROBERTSPORT, August 5 (LINA) – The Joint Security in Grand Cape Mount County has arrested a 16-year-old Sierra Leonean with one kilogram of marijuana valued at L$11,500.

The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) County Commander Major Octavius Manneh, who disclosed this to the Liberia News Agency in Robertsport Monday, said the culprit is a resident of Jendemana Town, which lies on the border with Sierra Leone.

Major Manneh said information gathered showed that the boy has been involved in cross-border petty trade with assorted goods in a wheelbarrow.

The DEA official said following the conclusion of preliminary investigation, the boy, 16, was turned over to the Tienii Magisterial Court in Tewor District.
