Citizens Of Buluyeama Appeal For Social Development
By Korboi K. Gbelewala, LINA Lofa County Correspondent

VOINJAMA, August 5 (LINA) - Citizens of Buluyeama Clan in Zorzor District, Lofa County are appealing to government through the county authorities and the Legislative Caucus to provide social services to the clan.

The citizens said the lack of basic services such as schools, roads, clinics and markets is impeding the condition of life in the area.

The citizens at a mass meeting held in the clan recently, accused both past and present leaders of the county of abandoning the clan when it comes to decentralizing development in Zorzor District.

They maintained that the clan deserves good healthcare delivery system, quality and affordable education and improved living standard.

According to them, the lack of these basic facilities is causing them to walk miles and for days to reach clinics, schools and markets, noting that some of their friends and family members sometimes die en route to health centers.

They are therefore calling on prominent citizens of the district and the county to come to their rescue.
