CEO Renovating Gov’t Elementary School In Robertsport

By D.Ignatius Roberts, LINA Grand Cape Mount County Correspondent

ROBERTSPORT, August 2 (LINA) - Grand Cape Mount County Education Officer (CEO) Dwight Harvey has disclosed that his administration has embarked on the renovation of the Government Demonstration Elementary School in Robertsport.

He said funding for the project was provided by the Incident Management System (IMS) at the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.

He, however, did not disclose the amount.

CEO Harvey made the disclosure Saturday in Robertsport during a tour of the project site.

Meanwhile, Harvey has also disclosed that the government has finalized plans to rehabilitate dilapidated learning institutions in the county school system in an effort to provide a conducive learning atmosphere for the students.

He admonished school administrators to refrain from vices that have the propensity to bring discredit to the educational system in the county.
