By David Pamas Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent
TUBMANBURG, July 14 (LINA) - Project Concern International (PCI) Bomi County Manager Roosevelt Crawford has pledged his institution’s support to building the financial capacity of Ebola victims and other vulnerable people in the county.
Crawford said the project which will focus in the area of agriculture will target Ebola victims, baby mothers, pregnant women and large families.
Making the disclosure at a meeting in Tubmanburg recently, Crawford said the agriculture component will be in the form of backyard gardens on at least two acres of land which will be supported by PCI.
He noted that the project will also include the rehabilitation of roads and damaged bridges and opening of major drainages to enable them have access to farm-to-market roads to sell their products.
Crawford, who did not give the actual cost of the project, said the project is being sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and will cover the four districts in the county.
