By David Pamas Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent

TUBMANBURG, June 18 (LINA) - Bomi County Superintendent Samuel Brown has assured students of  Klay Agriculture Vocational Training Center (KAVTC) of government’s commitment to address their grievances, and urged them to remain calm.

In an interview with the Liberia News Agency at his office in Tubmanburg Thursday when he returned from the institution’s site in Klay, Brown conceded that the grievances of the students are genuine and that the government will ensure that they are addressed soonest.

Brown told LINA that the Ministry of Youth and Sports is working out plans to quickly intervene to bring the situation under control, adding, “There is a need to urgently address the situation at KAVTC for the smooth operation of the center.”

He named some the major problems at the center as the lack of electricity, poor preparation of meals and lack of healthcare.

He confirmed that the students have assured him that they will remain calm and promised to do nothing to disrupt activities at the center while the interventions of the county’s authority is underway.
