Pres. Sirleaf Donates To Laboratory Project in Mbolahun

MBOLAHUN, Lofa County, Feb 18 (LINA) - President Ellen Johnson -Sirleaf has donated an amount of L$50,000 as initial contribution towards a laboratory project in Mbolahun, Lofa County.

She made the donation to enhance a multi-purpose building initiative that has been carried out by sons and daughters of Mbolahun, both at home and abroad, to help enhance government’s efforts at improving the country’s education and development sectors.

Meanwhile, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf on Tuesday broke grounds for the multi-purpose building to house a science laboratory in Mbolahun, Lofa County.

Speaking at a ceremony organized by the Kolahun friends and family association at the St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Kolahun, President Sirleaf thanked the association for the initiative and pledged government’s unflinching support towards the construction of the science laboratories.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the association, the vice president for administration, Mrs. Elizabeth Sele Mulbah, thanked the President for the gesture.

According to the Liberia News Agency, the multi-purpose building contains a computer laboratory, conference hall and offices for workers responsible to run the facility.
