Public Works Begins Road Upgrade In Gbarpolu

By Emmanuel Mondaye, LINA Gbarpolu County Correspondent

BOPOLU, May 20 (LINA) – The engineering department of the Ministry of Public Works (MPW) has begun reconditioning the main route to Bopolu City in Gbarpolu County.

County Superintendent Armah Sarnor told the Liberia News Agency that the engineering team will also recondition feeder roads within the city and its environs to provide easy passage for vehicles traveling to and from the county, especially during the raining season.

He called on citizens to give the team all necessary cooperation to do its job to reduce the level of difficulty encountered by citizens in commuting and conveying their goods due to deplorable roads.

Meanwhile, some citizens of the county have expressed readiness to work with the Public Works Ministry engineering team to rehabilitate the roads in the county.

They observed that with an improved road network, travel to and from the county will be safe, cheap and easy.
