Ivorian Refugees Appeal for Tolerance
By John Bropleh, Maryland County Correspondent
HARPER, Feb 13 (LINA) -The spokesperson for Ivorian refugees in Maryland County, Madam Elizabeth Quiah, has appealed to the people of two host towns to remain tolerant of the refugees.
She reminded residents of Little Wlebo and Rock towns that there are bad people all over the world who do not appreciate the good of others.
According to the Liberia News Agency Correspondent, Madam Quiah made the appeal recently when she announced her selection as leader of the over 10,000 refugees.
The refugee leader urged residents of the two towns to ignore refugees who might at times act disorderly; saying the bulk of the refugees appreciate the hospitality of Liberians before their arrival in the country.
