By David Pamas Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent
TUBMANBURG, May 1(LINA) - Seek for the Children Care (SECARE) in Bomi County has begun constructing a modern care center for Ebola-affected children in Sackie Town, Senjeh District, Bomi County.
SECARE Coordinator Zuannah Kerkula told the Liberia News Agency Thursday that the project is being undertaken by Care for the Children International (CACI), an institution based in the United States of America.
Kerkula, who said the project started last week, put the cost of the construction of the five-room building and a playground at US$10,000, noting that the work will be completed in three months and will accommodate about 30 Ebola orphans.
He also disclosed that apart from the children center, CACI will also construct a clinic and school in three phases.
He indicated that phase one is construction of the center and playground currently underway, while phase two will be the clinic and phase three the school.
