By Richard D. Baysah, LINA Margibi County Correspondent

KAKATA, April 28 (LINA) - The Kakata Magisterial Court has charged a 26 year-old man for allegedly raping a 13 year-old girl.

A copy of the Writ of Arrest indicates that defendant Jacob Kallon, a classroom teacher, on the night of April 22 committed the act in the Green Island Community in Kakata where he lived.

The writ further said Kallon allegedly stuffed a pillow in the victim’s mouth and willfully, intentionally and against the consent of the child, violated her.

Meanwhile, the case being above the trial jurisdiction of the Kakata Magisterial Court has been forwarded to the 13th Judicial Circuit Court for adjudication.
