Supt. Toe Launches Probe In Mysterious Death In Harper

By John Bropleh,/LINA Maryland County Correspondent

HARPER, April 28 (LINA) - Maryland County Superintendent Betsy Toe has launched an investigation into circumstances surrounding the mysterious death of a man identified as Himmieh Dixon.

Dixon, 40, reportedly went missing while undergoing “spiritual treatment” at a healing Church in Harper District, and his body was later found two kilometers from Giabo Town, where he was taking the treatment, with parts missing.

Addressing a mass meeting of Chiefs, Commissioners and citizens of the District in Harper at the weekend, Supt. Toe called for speedy investigation into Dixon’s death.

She told the citizens of the district that Maryland County has an age-old history of such deaths, adding that she will not leave any stone unturned in probing the cause of the death of Dixon.

She noted the government concerned about the development and that all local leaders must cooperate with the leadership of the county to bring the perpetrators to justice.
