3-day Training On Respect For Conduct Of Criminals, Others Ends

TUBMANBUG, APRIL 6 (LINA) –A three-day Training on the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which emphasizes Respect for the Conduct of Criminals, Investigations and Prosecution Coordination has ended in Tubmanburg, Bomi County.

The training was held for the Prosecution Services of the Ministry of Justice and the Liberia National Police (LNP).

Over 45 participants from Grand Cape Mount, Gbarpolu and Bomi counties were trained to implement the MOU which seeks to establish cordial working relations between the two groups. 

Speaking to reporters at the end of the training over the weekend, the chief facilitator of the training, Aaron Mulbah said the MOU was signed on October 17, 2011.

Mulbah said UN Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) and its partners will sponsor the initiatives for the implementation of the MOU.

Also speaking at the end of the training, Cllr. David Blamah, who lauded the Justice Ministry, Liberia National Police and UNMIL for the training and hoped for the successful implementation of the MOU in the interest of the people.
