‘No Malice Against Anyone For My Defeat’- Findley

By Johnson Bobby Liway, LINA Grand Bassa County Correspondent

BUCHANAN, March 31 (LINA) - Former Senate Pro-Tempore Gbehzohngar Milton Findley has said he harbors no malice against anyone for his defeat and urged supporters to stop pointing accusing fingers at others for the good of Grand Bassa County.

He made the statement at a program held in his honor where he was presented a gavel and challenged to bring peace and unity among the people of the county.

During the program, Bassa citizens extolled Findley for his valuable service to the county and country.

“We believe in you that what you promise you will do; surely you do execute what you say and you execute what you promise,” the citizens said at the program held at the Fairground Pavilion in Buchanan.

They noted that his leadership style enlightened his colleagues at the Legislature, bringing about the formulation of many legislations, acts and reforms for the smooth operation of government.

Presenting the statement of appreciation, the citizens said Findley should not be deterred by people who will say something and do another thing, praising him for “standing the test of time as a political force in Liberia.”
