Christian Group To Invest In WASH, Education In Bomi
By David Pamas Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent

TUBMANBURG, March 28 (LINA) – The Coordinator of the New Creation Christian Fellowship in Bomi County, Lincoln Cooper, has disclosed plans by the U.S. faith-based organization to invest in the water, sanitation and education sectors in the county.

Cooper said the investment is intended to improve the county’s water and sanitation system, provide free education for students from elementary through university and crate job opportunities for citizens of the county and other Liberians.

He said the investment will also cover the construction of elementary and industrial schools, a university, hospitals and the establishment of a general agriculture project in rice and rubber production to benefit citizens of the county who will also serve as shareholders.

Cooper made the disclosure in Tubmanburg Friday at a ceremony marking the turning over of 2,400 acres of land by citizens of Klay and Suehn Mecca Districts to the New Creation Christian Fellowship for the implementation of the project.

Presenting the land on behalf of the citizens, Bomi County Superintendent Samuel Brown said the plan by the U.S. faith-based group to invest in the county is highly appreciated by the people of Bomi County.

Superintendent Brown called on citizens of the county to support the organization to ensure success of the projects.
