TUBMANBURG, March 25 (LINA) - Care Liberia Limited located in Senjeh District, Bomi County has donated several educational materials to Save Our Children, Our Future, a local non-governmental organization based in the county.

Making the presentation Tuesday in Sackie Town, Senjeh District, Care Liberia Coordinator, Mr. Mohammed Karnley, said the materials are to be distributed to Ebola-affected children attending school.

The materials include 25 sets of Liberia elementary school text books, 25 dozens of copy books, 25 pieces of book bags and 25 parks of pencils, among others.

Karnley disclosed that the materials, which cost US$ 4,692, were made available by an affiliate organization, Children Care, an international non-governmental organization based in the United States of America.

Receiving the items, Save Our Children, Our Future charlady Anna Sumo lauded Care Liberia for the gesture, terming it as timely.

Sumo said the materials will help 25 Ebola-affected children in the area to go to school this year, and appealed to other humanitarian organizations to emulate the good example of Care Liberia.
