Official Assures Health Workers Of Government’s Support

By D. Ignatius Roberts, Grand Cape Mount County Correspondent

ROBERTSPORT, Feb 9 (LINA) - Grand Cape Mount County Assistant Superintendent for Development, Tenneh Simpson Kpedebah has assured health workers in the county that government would address their concerns.

In remarks at the installation of officers of the St. Timothy Government Hospital Health Workers Union, Madam Kpedebah told the health workers that authorities of the county were aware of the problems confronting them, but appealed for patience as the government strives to address their needs.

She emphasized that the issue of health workers in the country will be properly addressed by the government to motivate them to perform their responsibilities with diligence and commitment.

Earlier, the newly-inducted president of the health workers, Baccus Roberts, thanked the employees for their preferment and promised that his administration would work with the County Health Team and authorities of the hospital to ensure that their needs are met.

He said the first priority of his administration is to purchase a utility vehicle for the hospital.
