Speaker Tyler Urges Unity To Develop Bomi

By David Pamas Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent

TUBMANBURG, March 18 (LINA) – House Speaker Alex Tyler has reiterated calls by the Bomi Legislative Caucus to former and present leaders of the county to join efforts with the Caucus for development.

Speaker Tyler said the collective efforts of the Legislative Caucus, local authorities, chiefs and elders, youth and women groups and the entire citizenry of the county will bring rapid development to the county.

He made the call at the start of the county’s first development meeting in 2015 held in Tubmanburg on Wednesday.

Tyler called on citizens of Bomi County to do away with hatred and disunity and exhibit the spirit of unity if the county must develop, adding: “The county will never develop if the citizens are divided politically, socially and tribally.”

“Leaders of Bomi County will come and go but Bomi will remain. Let us give first priority to unifying ourselves for the development of our county,” the Bomi County official stressed.
