School Teacher Hangs Self After Allegedly Killing Colleague

GBARNGA, March 15 (LINA) - A physics instructor at the St. Mark’s Lutheran School in Gbarnga, Bong County, Roland Sumo, committed suicide after he allegedly stabbed to death his colleague, John O. Sumo, an English instructor at the same school, with a pair of scissors.
Roland’s lifeless body was discovered hanging in a little bush around the Alexandria Andrews Academy on the Lofa Highway by residents of the area.
He reportedly took his life Friday after allegedly stabbing his colleague to death on Wednesday, March 11.
He was found hanging from a tree with the pair of blood-stained scissors in his hand.
Meanwhile, classes at the St. Mark’s Lutheran School have been suspended following the incident.
Police told the Liberia News Agency that they have launched an investigation into the matter.
