Grand Kru BIN Head Hails Local Office Construction

BARCLAYVILLE, March 13 (LINA) - The head of the Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization Grand Kru County detachment has commended the county leadership for constructing an immigration office in Behwan, Trehn Statutory District.
Col. Askia Koteah told the Liberia News Agency that the building is one of three earmarked by authorities to be constructed under the County Development Fund.
He said the provision of office buildings will greatly enhance to work of the BIN in the county.
Meanwhile, the BIN official is appealing to government to provide logistics for the bureau to effectively carry out its operations.
Col. Koteah also wants government to assign more officers to man the more than 15 entry points in the county.
He made the appeal recently in an interview with LINA in Barclayville, Grand Kru County.
Askia said the detachment does not have any vehicle or motorcycle for officers to patrol the various entry points.
