PUL Postpones Mini-Congress

MONROVIA, March 13 (LINA) - The Press Union of Liberia (PUL) has rescheduled its pending mini-congress to next weekend in Monrovia.

A release said the leadership took the decision Thursday to enable it adequately address outstanding logistical constraints which are critical to the holding of the event.

The Capitol Hill campus of the University of Liberia has been selected as the tentative venue for the congress.

The Constitution of the PUL requires the holding of a mini-congress at the end of each year.

However, due to the Ebola outbreak plus logistical constraints, the event has been delayed.

The Congress is an opportunity for the leadership to report to the membership on progress and financial situation in the union.
