BUCHANAN, February 23 (LINA) - The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) along with the Advancing Youth Program (AYP) has donated to the Grand Bassa Community College to buttress its drive to offer quality education.

The items donated recently included three used vehicles, two scanners, two printers, three desktops, one copier, one laptop, one modem, one standing refrigerator and four air conditioner split units.

Presenting the items, Denise Clarke Reeves, Chief of Party said that the relationship between USAID/AYP and GBCC has come a long way, noting the items were not brand new but usable.

Receiving the items, Dr. Levi B. Zangai, President and CEO of GBCC, thanked the USAID family for the donation.

Zangai said three faculty members were presently in Ghana sponsored by USAID under the agriculture program for two weeks through a partnership between the U.S. agency and the college.
