By Calvin Brooks/LINA
MONROVIA, January 27 (LINA) -About 100 teachers of the Monrovia Consolidated School System (MCSS) have been trained in Ebola preventive methods for safety on school campuses.
The training was conducted during a one-day workshop at the William V.S. Tubman High School on Monday in collaboration with the National Port Authority (NPA), according to the Liberia News Agency.
Speaking at the end of the workshop, the NPA Deputy Managing Director for Administration, Nyekeh Y. Forkpa, admonished the teachers to enforce all preventive measures against Ebola for the safety of students and those entering the school campuses.
Forkpa emphasized that teachers should not compromise the preventive measures instituted by the MCSS authority to protect students and staff in any school, adding, “if there is any case of Ebola on campus, it would lead to school closing down again.”
