Senator Chie Stress Need For Roads In Grand Kru

By Hilary Vasco Wiagbe/LINA

MONROVIA, January 22 (LINA) -The new Senator of Grand Kru County, Albert Chie, has said that without roads, it would be difficult to succeed in implementing development projects in the county.

Chie noted that although Grand Kru County has other development needs, the construction of roads must be given priority if the living condition of the people must improve.

According to the Liberia News Agency, Senator Chie made the remarks Wednesday when he appeared on the Liberia Broadcasting Corporation (ELBC) radio talk show, “The Super Morning Show”.

He opined that when the roads are built, the issue of lack of adequate school, health and agriculture facilities will be easily tackled.

The Grand Kru County Senator, however, stressed the need for his kinsmen to exhibit a high degree of unity and cooperate with the County Legislative Caucus for the betterment of the county.

He emphasized that the development drive of Grand Kru requires the collective efforts of all of its citizens, and not a particular group or segment.
