MNG Gold Donates To Clinics In Kokoyah
By Ballah Kollie, LINA Bong County Correspondent
KOKOYAH, January 21 (LINA) – The MNG Gold mining firm has begun the distribution of disinfectants and other anti-Ebola materials to five clinics in Kokoyah Statutory District, Bong County.
MNG Gold, a Turkish gold mining company, is the buyer of the mining rights of AMLIB Liberia that formerly operated the mine in Kokoya District.
Ben Sayeh, head of Government relations at the company, told the Liberia News Agency Wednesday that the distribution is the company’s way of identifying with the clinics in the fight against Ebola.
Sayeh said defeating Ebola should be the collective responsibility of every Liberian and partner of the country, and not the government alone.
He disclosed that each of the five clinics will receive 200 bottles of liquid soap, 250 pieces of hand sanitizers and several whist belts, with the inscription “Ebola kills.”
Clinics to benefit are Rock Crusher, Botota, Gbecon, Gbarta and Yolo-ta.
