ELWA 2 Discharges Last Ebola Patient

By Decontee Wesseh (Intern)

MONROVIA, January 19 (LINA) - ELWA 2, one of the ELWA Ebola Treatment Units (ETUs) on the outskirts of Monrovia, has discharged its last Ebola patient.

Deputy Information Minister Isaac Jackson made the disclosure at the Ministry of Information regular press conference held Monday at the ministry in Monrovia.

Jackson said Dr. Jerry Brown of the ELWA ETUs revealed that the last victim at the ELWA 2treatment unit was discharged over the weekend.

‘The only gentleman who was still seeking treatment there then has been discharged and today the government is rejoicing in another mark of victory at that place,” Jackson said.
