Cabinet Retreat Slated For Bomi Tomorrow

By Winnie Dixon/LINA

MONROVIA, January 19 (LINA) - A two-day retreat for cabinet ministers and heads of agencies to review government’s position on the current health crisis and other national issues is slated for Julijuah Town, Bomi County beginning Tuesday, January 20.

Making the disclosure at the Ministry of Information daily press briefing Monday, Deputy Information Minister Isaac Jackson said President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf will chair the retreat, which will also focus on "not what her government has achieved, but from where it has come."

The meeting will also consider the creation of more policies and programs for the country’s development agenda and how it can effectively engage the post-Ebola era.

Re-echoing of the President’s “Step Up or Step Down” policy will feature at the retreat, Jackson indicated.
