LPRC Retires 16 Employees

MONROVIA, January 17 (LINA) - The Liberia Petroleum Refinery Company (LPRC) has retired 16 employees after more than 25 years of service to the entity.

Making remarks at the program at the Paynesville Town Hall Friday, Vice President Joseph Boakai thanked the retirees for their commitment and dedication to service for which they were honored by the company.

VP Boakai also lauded the management of LPRC for stabilizing the prices of petroleum products on the Liberian market since the inception of the government.

He noted that management has been able to manage LPRC without serious petroleum shortage as compared to other countries in the sub-region.

Those retired include Aaron J. Wheagar, Joseph B. Dennis, Katherine J. A. Lavail, J. Robert Ellis, Saah Kamanda, Cyrus Cooper, John Hubbard and Yaba Dennis.

Others are James Bracewell, Francis Moulton Clarke, Emmanuel S. Kreku, Bruce J. Miller, Margret Worjloh, David Garnoe, Borbor Playe and Varney Tarweh.
